Charcuterie Wreath

It’s finally Ellavate day 12… the last day! I hope you guys have enjoyed these posts because I know I have. These posts have really helped to make this holiday season special and fun for me. The last post I wanted to make is how to make a charcuterie wreath for a fun holiday get-together. This wreath helps to ellavate the occasion even when it’s just a small gathering. I made this wreath for my family on Christmas night and it made everything feel so festive although it was just five people! I also noticed that many of these wreaths were very complicated and huge so, I wanted to make my own wreath much smaller and more manageable. This literally took five minutes but looks much more decadent then any regular plate with cheese on it.

Step 1: Get a grocery list together full of your favorite cheeses, meats, jams, olives, dried fruits, and crackers. Also get rosemary for decoration. Then, head to the store and grab all your favorites.

Step 2: Get out a plate whatever size is best for your occasion. I used a small plate but, if you have more people or more cheese then increase the sizing of the plate.

Step 3: Place the rosemary around the plate in a circle as an outline.

Step 4: Cut a hard cheese into triangles.

Step 5: Get toothpicks and your meat. Fold the meat in half and then in half again and slide it through the toothpick. I did three pieces of salami per toothpick. Then lay all of the toothpicks with meat around the plate.

Step 6: Take any dried fruit or olives and place them around like decorations on a wreath.

Step 7: Add a soft cheese in the middle in a circular shape.

Step 8: Finish off with any other cheeses or decorations as you wish.

This is a great way to make a regular day feel like a fun time!
